Whether it’s your home or business, we all take comfort in safety and security. You may not be able to be on guard 24-hours thanks to CCTV cameras and other security surveillance systems without employing a security firm. Using Do It Yourself smart systems, motion sensors, and surveillance provides a visible deterrent to intruders while integrating your cameras with your TV, PC, Smartphone and tablet.
Choosing which CCTV system is right for you will depend on what you want to monitor (your home or your office, for example, what you need to film high resolution, black and white or color and how you want to connect your system through a TV, monitor or through a digital video recorder (DVR).
If you already have a CCTV kit and are looking to expand your network of security cameras for your home or office, we supply both wired and wireless CCTV systems.
The range of solutions could be:
Cabled: Wired CCTV systems provide the best picture quality with zero interference if you need to record your surveillance. They mostly use BNC plugs, which can be connected to your TV using an adaptor, or directly into a DVR. Also note that wired cameras can be more difficult to install and cannot be easily moved to another location.
Wireless:Some wireless CCTV cameras offer an improved transmission range of up to 200m. Although easier to install and move around than wired ones, they sometimes suffer interference from other wireless signals. Internet Protocol cameras or IP cameras work by sending and receiving data via the internet. IP cameras offer as open or closed access to the footage as needed, while the images recorded can be viewed remotely using any PC.
DVRs enable users to simultaneously monitor and record numerous cameras with motion detection triggers. Any recordings are saved onto the DVR hard drives and can be played back on the DVR itself, or transferred to alternative media. It is important to consider how many cameras you need it to record. A 4 Channel DVR can be linked up to four CCTV cameras, an 8 Channel DVR to eight cameras, and so on. If you’re looking to gain the benefits of a high-end CCTV system in minutes, consider a PCI or USB DVR, which plug directly into the back of your PC.
Security biometric is the science of using physical characteristics (fingerprints, eyes, hands) to identify a person using fingerprint readers. When you are considering security biometric, you want to have physical characteristics that are constant and do not change over time and are also difficult to fake or change on purpose. The following are some of the biometric identification methods that you can use and it really comes down to what works best for your needs. Face Recognition biometrics security: This is one of the most flexible methods as it can be done without the person being aware that they are being scanned. This system analyzes specific features that everyone’s face has. Fingerprint Identification: Your fingerprints remain the same throughout your life and no two fingerprints are alike. Hand Geometry biometrics security: This will work in harsh environments, does not require clean conditions and uses a small dataset. It is not considered as intrusive and is often used in industrial environments.
